Kia Ora! Welcome back to my blog. Yesterday in social studies class, my classmates and I had an interesting activity. Our teacher asked us to create a glossary of words related to the map I shared in my last blog post. The map included features like gulf, bay, bight, and more. It was a fascinating exercise as we got to delve deeper into geographical terms and their meanings.
We were also encouraged to add any other words we didn’t know to the glossary. I only came across one new word, which was “glacier.” It was intriguing to learn about this icy natural wonder and its significance in our world.
I decided to create my glossary on Google Slides. It was a fun and engaging way to compile and present the information. I’m looking forward to sharing more about my social studies class and the exciting activities we undertake.
