Introducing Ourselves In Māori ( Comic Story ) – Māori Class

Hello everybody! Today in Māori class we have learnt how to introduce ourselves and create a comic story about students introducing themselves in Māori. I am going to show you what work we have done today.

The Work We Have Done –

The Finished Comic Story I Created –

The Websites And Flash Cards We Used –

Pixton –

The website we use to create this comic is called ‘Pixton’. It is a website where classes can create stories, learn languages and a lot more. But the downside to Pixton is that we need to pay the company money to use the website.

Please click here to see the Pixton website.

Quizlet –

The flashcards we used to review the words we have learnt in the previous class are from a website called ‘Qiuzlet’. This website allows students to test, practice, review and learn in their free time and it can also let teachers test students in a fun and exciting way.

Please click here to see the Quizlet website.

Kei te peehea – Māori class

Kia Ora, welcome back to my blog. Today in Māori class we were learning some new words, like – How to say some feelings in Māori, and how to ask questions in Māori. Our teacher was writing the Māori word on the board and if we knew it we could say it but if we didn’t the teacher would write it on the board, while the teacher was writing we had to write the stuff on our blog.

Thanks, Whaea Sarah for teaching AlT
