In writing we have been doing memoirs. In memories they use see, smell, hear, taste, feel, feel inside and what you are thinking. We had to write a memoirs about the first time doing something, I chose Riding a electric scooter for the first time and the electric scooter is called a ninebot.

In digitech we have been doing screencastify. We had 3 options that we could make a video about, solving a math problem, reading a book and write something about your class or school. We had to draw on the screen while recording and add titles in the editing stage. We could also cut out unnecessary parts of our video.

Hello welcome back to my blog. Today I will be telling you about my reading activity. For our reading follow up we read a story called “diary of a wimpy kid book 2 (Rodrick rules.)” for the first activity Rodrick and Greg had excuses for stuff and we had to come up with an excuse for stuff. For the second thing Greg had a friend rowley who went to france and we had to come up with 5 facts about France and excuses to not do something.

This week in art we have been looking at art by an artist called Giacometti. Then we did some art inspired by him.
Giacometti is a famous artist and he made sculptures with long legs and arms. This week we saw some of Giacometti’s art work. We made them with tinfoil and we also made a pose to with it.

Today in writing time we have writing about Rob the nest game. This is my writing that we did in writing time, It was very fun playing Rob the nest in the morning.

Rob The Nest Recount Writing
Today in writing time we had to do a recount. But sometimes people say that they did nothing so the teachers suggested that we should play a game so we can write about it. We had choices if we wanted to play Rob The Nest or Rounders and some of the class voted for Rob The Nest.
First Mr Talyor said to do 2 laps around the school and it was tiring, and we had to do it so Miss Scott could get the game ready so when we reached there it would be ready. During the run Lukus fell and got a bit of an injury but I was already by the field so I could not help but there were already some people over there.
We finished the 2 laps and we reached the field and waited for most of the people to reach the field. Then everyone came and Miss Scott told us the instructions so we knew how to play the game. Instructions-1 person runs to get a ball, 1 person runs at a time.
Then we got in a line and Miss Scott put us in teams of 10 for each group. There were 4 hoops and there were 10 people by each hoop. There is a hoop in the middle with 5 balls at first then we put more balls in the hoop.
Eventually every team won and in the last round Joshua mistakenly ran when someone was running when the other person in his team was running.
Finally we added 2 more balls so it can equal 6 balls all together, and then to win we had to now get 6 balls in our basket and then steal from the other teams.
It felt cool playing Rob the Nest in the morning. I decided to play Rob the Nest because I had no idea what Rounders was but I knew what Rob the Nest was.
We had to dance an create a tribal dance working in your groups.create a tribal dance working in your groups. Then as a group we had to Identify and agree with three values that your tribe will uphold.Then you will have some time to come up with your tribal dance to present. Once presented we will discuss our feelings and reflect on what went well and what didn’t.

Today I will be posting a blog post about Explanation Writing. In this Explanation Writing it is going to be about Bee’s enjoy this writing that I did.
We are going to learn how bees make honey. Honey is a healthy food to eat. We can use honey in bread.
Firstly the worker bees visit flowers and then they suck the nectar from the middle part of the flower. It sucks into a tongue that looks like a straw. Then it sucks all the nectar from the flower into it and it stores it in their tummy.
Next they return back to the beehive. They are already processing it to turn that nectar into different parts of sugar like glucose and fructose.
Then the processor honey bee will purge the nectar in the other bee’s mouth and that will go on until it turns into simple sugar.
Finally the bee moves to a pit of watery honey mix.The nectar is now moved into the watery honey mix that’s called honeycomb. Then the bee’s come together and flap their wings which evaporates the water. Then it will turn into honey.
Honey is a natural sweet that most people enjoy. Did you know that in its whole life a single bee only produces about 1 and a half teaspoons of honey?
