SLJ (Vibrant Viola) Kick start Activity 23

Kia Ora, welcome back to another blog post.

I hope you are enjoying the blog post I post everyday. Today’s task is called Vibrant Viola, in this task there was a app and I followed the tune and played a violin online, follow what I did and you can play the violin online too.

Steps :

Ako l Learn

For the learning part I watched a video called “Ode to Joy” Played on a piano.  Here is the link if you want to watch the video. Next I was supposed to read about beethoven – the composer of “Ode to Joy” but when I click on the link, it shows an error. If it works for you that’s great, here is the link.

Hanga l Create

Next for the create part I played “Ode to Joy” on a cello with Viola the bird. Then I had to record my performance and copy the link, I also had instructions to help me in the link.

Tohatoha l Share

Lastly for the share part I copied the link of the music I made and now I have to put it on my blog which I am doing. I also Had to tell if it was easy or hard and tell 5 facts about Beethoven in my blog post. The Viola was easy to do because we had to move the mouse left and right.

Here are 5 facts about Beethoven

1: Beethoven was born on the 16 Dec, 1770

2: Beethoven’s favorite instrument was the piano

3: At the age of 11, BeetHoven became an assistant organist

  1. I thought Beethoven was a ST Bernard dog…..Goggle it if you want. It’s under Beethoven movie (St Bernard dog)

Keep up the super effort and I am enjoying looking at your posts. So far you are the only one that has completed SO many.

  2. Mōrena Shreeya,

What a great step up from your previous post and it is awesome to see you learning some more fun facts about Beethoven.

I think your song sounds amazing. Did you learn any facts about the instrument you used to make this song or any composers who use the same instrument? If you were to add other instruments to your song what would you add?
