This Maths Riddles activity is awesome because it gets you thinking more in depth about your answers especially in the first question about the total number of squares at first just like you I thought it is 9, but then you can’t forget the outer perimeter of the entire square and also each corner having 4 squares to equal a total of 1 4 squares. Did you figure this out after the answer was revealed?
