Art for Art snake SLJ (Kick Start) drawing

Hi, welcome back to my blog. Today I will be sharing an Art for Art snake drawing that I drew, this drawing was pretty easy. For this activity I needed a black felt and a pencil to sketch, after that I drew a girl with some designs in here hair. Did you know that the person who made these drawings was Etienne de Silhouette and   his name was synonymous with doing things cheaply and because he was fond of making these images himself, this artform was named after him. In America Silhouettes were highly popular from about 179o’s to 1840’s.

Write in the comments if you like the drawing.

Here is my Art for Art snake girl drawing.

  1. Kia ora Shreeya,

Great work! I love how you have included detailed information on the backstory of silhouettes, including the year they came about and the famous artist who first created such silhouettes.

I love how your silhouette of the girl has her hair flying in the wind and the twirls in her hair add a nice design too!

    Keep up the amazing work!
